Paediatric Ophthalmology
Dr Tiki Ewing is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists with sub-specialty training in paediatric ophthalmology. She completed her medical degree and RANZCO ophthalmology training program in Perth, Western Australia with her first paediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Perth Children’s Hospital. She went on to complete a further fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus in Vancouver, Canada at BC Children’s Hospital.
Biography
She is passionate about optimising vision and improving quality of life for her patients through all stages of life. She prioritises patient understanding and education, and is committed to providing every patient and family with the best possible individualised, evidence-based care. At present at Mt Lawley Eye Clinic she will only be consulting for children under 18 years of age, although does consult in general ophthalmology in regular rural outreach clinics. Dr Ewing also holds a public consultant position at Perth Children’s Hospital and is involved in research as well as the supervision and teaching of RANZCO ophthalmology trainees through their rotations at the children’s hospital. Tiki is accredited to operate privately for children at Southbank Day Surgery and Subiaco Private Hospital.
